Here is a brief description of the Counter Sales Reps job.
The Counter Sales Rep is the most “customer facing” job in our entire operation. No one has more interaction with the HVAC contractors who count on us to deliver the parts and supplies they need…when they need them. The counter sales rep is the first person the contractor sees when they walk through the door. The counter sales rep is also the first person they speak to when they call us on the phone…before they walk through the door.
The odds are incredibly high…probably 100%…that the person we are looking for works with one of our direct competitors but is looking, for one reason or another, to make a move.
The guy…or lady…that would be the best fit probably has at least five years’ experience. It wouldn’t hurt our feelings if you also had a strong customer base that might want to know when you left your current spot and landed a new one. The icing on the cake would be if you just happened to be bilingual.
